- open.er-api.com：下載公開匯率。
English
(VND Converter, "the extension") is developed by 興家管理顧問 (Taiwan). We do not collect, store or sell any personal data.
1. Data kept in your browser
The following is stored only in your own Chrome browser (chrome.storage) and is never accessible to the developer:
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Settings (currency, translation language, toggles, rate-alert threshold) | Remember your choices. If Chrome sync is on, Google syncs them across your devices under your sync settings. |
| Cached exchange rates | Fewer network requests; works offline |
| Price history (product name, URL, price, date) | Only for Shopee VN, Lazada VN and Tiki product pages you open yourself; used for charts and price-drop alerts |
| Pro license key and activation id | Checking that Pro is active |
Removing the extension deletes this data. You can also remove individual products on the Price history page at any time.
2. Network requests
- open.er-api.com: downloads public exchange rates. No user data is sent (like any website, the server sees your IP address).
- api.lemonsqueezy.com: only when you enter a Pro license key and for periodic license checks; only the license key and activation id are sent. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy; the extension never sees your payment details. See Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy.
3. Translation
Product names are translated with Chrome's built-in on-device translator. The text is not sent to the developer or to any translation server.
4. Content on shopping sites
The extension reads prices and product names only on Shopee VN, Lazada VN and Tiki pages to show conversions and translations on your screen. This content does not leave your device, and the extension never browses shopping sites in the background.
5. What we don't do
- No analytics, tracking or ads
- No selling or transferring data to third parties
- No use of data for creditworthiness or lending
